PITTSBURGH, July 17,
2024 /PRNewswire/ -- "I have been an OBGYN
physician for 33 years, and I wanted to create a pair of disposable
underwear that would provide postpartum women with greater
protection and comfort," said an inventor, from Mc Kinney, Texas, "so I invented the PROTECTS RX.
My design would offer gentle pressure on the top of the uterus
which may reduce post partum bleeding, help protect against leaks
and stains, and may aid in a quicker recovery."
The patent-pending invention provides a new type of disposable
underwear specifically designed for postpartum women. In doing so,
it would serve as a more comfortable and effective method of
absorbing postpartum blood. As a result, it offers an alternative
to wearing pads that can shift and rub. It also increases
protection and comfort. The invention features a highly absorbent
design that is easy to wear and use so it is ideal for women who
have just undergone childbirth or a miscarriage.
The original design was submitted to the Dallas sales office of InventHelp. It is
currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or
marketers. For more information, write Dept. 22-DAL-529,
