Cashmere clothing specialist Brunello Cucinelli plans to list on
the Milan Stock Exchange next year, Chairman and Chief Executive
Brunello Cucinelli said Tuesday.
"The plan is to list by spring 2012," Brunello Cucinelli said on
the sidelines of a luxury goods conference in Milan, according to
MF-Dow Jones. Cucinelli said the company has hired Mediobanca SpA
(MB.MI) and Bank of America-Merrill Lynch as advisers for the
listing.
Cucinelli said the company is seeking fresh capital on the
markets, not to make acquisitions but to strengthen its brand.
Italian luxury goods company Salvatore Ferragamo will debut on
the Milan Stock Exchange Wednesday, and another worldwide known
luxury brand, Prada SpA, floated in Hong Kong last week.
