Corporation's (AMPAC) (NASDAQ®: APFC) Cedar City, Utah Operations have been selected
by the Utah Labor Commission to receive the 2013 Arches Award
for Process Safety Management (PSM). The Arches Award recognizes
companies that demonstrate leadership and exemplary commitment to
safety practices.

Operations is home to the Specialty Chemicals segment, which
includes the perchlorates, Halotron and sodium azide product lines.
AMPAC's PEPCON Systems water treatment business is also part of
this facility. In addition to adhering to rigid PSM standards, the
facility has maintained a third party safety certification, OHSAS
18001, since 2008 to support its excellent safety record.
