Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
    
On December 12, 2023, Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc. (the “Company”) announced to its employees that Jennifer M. Langer, the Company’s Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer, has accepted an ex-pat position in the Company’s European Division as Vice President, Finance, effective January 1, 2024. Ms. Langer will continue to serve as the Company’s principal accounting officer through the filing of the Company’s Annual Report on Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2023, at which time Ms. Langer will cease to be the Company’s principal accounting officer.

The Company is engaging in a search process for Ms. Langer’s replacement.
