                      AUKETT FORMS STRATEGIC ALLIANCE WITH
                        US HEALTHCARE DESIGN CONSULTANCY


Aukett Group Plc, the international group of architects, designers and engineers
headquartered in London, has signed a strategic marketing agreement with US
based Healthcare specialist, The Ritchie Organisation (TRO). The alliance, which
will be branded as "Aukett TRO Healthcare", will focus on providing design
consultancy services to healthcare and life-science initiatives in the UK and
Europe. The agreement, which at this stage forms an alliance only and does not
create a new legal entity, sets out how the parties will work together in
winning and delivering healthcare projects. Any impact of the results of Aukett
derived from such co-operation are not expected to be material in the short
term.

Geoffrey Harwood, Group Managing Director, commented: "We are enthusiastic about
the prospect of working jointly with TRO on healthcare projects in Europe and
the potential opportunities this alliance should provide for the Group in the
medium to long term."

TRO has over 90 years of experience in the design of hospitals, clinics,
university and bio-medical research facilities and has an impressive array of
clients, including Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School,
Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Shanghai East Hospital, Brigham and Women's
Hospital.
