Directors' Notification of Interests


Avingtrans plc ("Avingtrans") has been notified today that on 30 October 2003,
Steve Lawrence (Chief Executive) and Stephen King (Finance Director) each
purchased 10,000 ordinary shares in Avingtrans at a price of 44 pence per share.


After these transactions, the interests of Mr Lawrence and Mr King in the
ordinary shares of 5 pence each of Avingtrans will amount to 202,818 and 40,000
ordinary shares respectively, representing 2.88% and 0.57% respectively of the
issued ordinary share capital.
