COPPELL, Texas, Dec. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ --
STMicroelectronics (NYSE:STM), one of the world's leading
semiconductor manufacturers, announced today that it has signed a
long-term lease agreement that will move its US headquarters to
Coppell, TX. Demonstrating ST's commitment to the Dallas area, the
new headquarters building occupies approximately 100,000 square
feet of a newly renovated building at 750 Canyon Drive. The
headquarters will house much of the company's US administrative
offices as well as some product division management functions and
sales and marketing staff. ST expects the move to begin early in
Q2, 2010. About 300 employees will be moving from the company's

be closed. STMicroelectronics is a global organization

Metroplex is an ideal location for ST's Americas Region
headquarters. About STMicroelectronics STMicroelectronics is a
