LETTER TO:   COMPANY ANNOUNCEMENTS OFFICE

On October 1, in Sepsiszentgyorgy we have signed an agreement on nearly USD 1
million (Lei 7,3 billion) investment in Romania.

According to above we have acquired majority shares of Plastico SA., a plastics
processing company in Sepsiszentgyorgy. In compliance with TVK's acquisition
strategy, purpose of the acquisition is development of plastics processing
profile, utilization of synergy gains and promoting TVK's market expansion.

TVK as strategic investor wishes to provide continuous, effective and
profitable operation of the Romanian company. Counting upon the expansion of
Romanian market we plan to implement new investments as well. Our Objective is
to make Plastico SA. a major player company on the Romanian plastics products
market.
