Details of the acceptance period for Imperial Tobacco's offer for Logista

Following its announcement last week of the approval of Imperial Tobacco Group
PLC's ("Imperial Tobacco") unconditional mandatory cash offer for the shares in
Compania de Distribucion Integral Logista, S.A. which are not already owned by
Altadis, S.A., Imperial Tobacco today confirms that the acceptance period will
begin on 22 April 2008 and end on 6 May 2008.
