Carter & Carter Group plc (the "Company") announces the following pursuant to
DTR 3.1.2R.

The Company has been notified today that Judith Westhead, wife of Rodney
Westhead (Chairman and Interim CEO) has today acquired 10,000 ordinary shares of
4 pence each in the share capital of the Company at a price of 225 pence per
share.  Judith Westhead's shareholding following this acquisition totals 14,365
shares (in addition to the 7,500 shares held by Rodney Westhead) bringing Rodney
Westhead's resultant shareholding in the Company to 0.05%.

The Company has also been notified today that Linda Green, wife of John Green
(Group Finance Director) has today acquired 7,500 ordinary shares of 4pence each
in the share capital of the Company at a price of 225 pence per share.  Linda
Green's shareholding following this acquisition totals 7,500 shares (in addition
to the 77,883 shares held by John Green) bringing John Green's resultant
shareholding in the Company to 0.2%.
