Issue of equity and director shareholding
Proton Power Systems plc (AIM: PPS), the designer, developer and
producer of fuel cells and fuel cell electric hybrid systems,
announces that it has issued 821,732 ordinary shares of 1 pence
each in the Company (the "New Ordinary Shares") to Helmut Gierse,
the Company's Non-Executive Director, in lieu of fees.
An application has been made for the New Ordinary Shares to be
admitted to trading on AIM which is expected to take effect on or
around 6 March 2017 ("Admission").
Following Admission, the Company's issued share capital will
comprise 644,092,109 ordinary shares of 1 Pence each in the Company
("Ordinary Shares"). The Company does not hold any Ordinary Shares
in treasury. This figure may be used by shareholders in the Company
as the denominator for the calculations by which they will
determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a
change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company under
the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency
Rules.
As a result of this transaction Helmut Gierse holds 2,906,616
Ordinary Shares representing 0.45 per cent. of the Company's issued
share capital and options over 6,050,000 Ordinary Shares.
