Death of a Director
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Neil
Rylance, Chief Executive Officer, who passed away on the 28(th)
March 2022, aged 64. Neil has been leading the Airea plc Board of
Directors since joining the company in 2008.
Martin Toogood, Non-Executive Chairman, said:
" We are deeply saddened and shocked by Neil's death. First and
foremost, our thoughts go out to his family at this difficult time,
and we extend to them our deepest sympathies.
"Neil was instrumental in the transformation and revitalisation
of Airea into the business we have today. His wise head, wicked
sense of humour and life experience shaped the Company and he will
be sorely missed. Missed, not just as a colleague, but also as a
friend and mentor to so many of us within the Airea team. We remain
committed to building on Neil's legacy by delivering against the
growth opportunities that the business now has with our thanks to
Neil's foresight and leadership in getting us to this place."
