More than five thousand people responded to the "Just what I needed for my summer vacation" survey.* Parents and young respondents had different ideas about which technology device they'd most like to use during a family road trip. * 53 percent of parents said they'd like to have a portable DVD player available in the car * 56 percent of kids said they're prefer to have a portable music player, such as a CD player or MP3 player * Almost a quarter of parents said they'd like to have a satellite navigation system Digital satellite radio, with coast-to-coast clear reception, also sparked interest in the survey.
