1985, the Company has been informed that, as at 15 September 2003, funds managed
by Laxey Partners Limited (Isle of Man) had an interest in 14,660,832 ordinary
shares of 10p each in the Company, representing approximately 9.51% of the
Company's issued ordinary share capital, registered in the name of Credit Suisse
