DIRECTORATE CHANGE
As the Club have previously announced, Mike O'Leary has expressed a wish to
stand down as chief executive of West Bromwich Albion. The Club today confirm
that Mike will leave the Board with effect from 31st December 2003 to move to a
new position outside football early in 2004. Chairman Jeremy Peace thanked Mike
for his contribution during the last 18 months and wished him well for the
future. Mike will continue to back the Club as a supporter and shareholder.
The Club can also confirm that Jeff Farmer will be joining the Board as a
non-executive director from 1st January 2004. Jeff is a lifelong Albion
supporter who recently retired from his job as Head of Sports Production for
ITV, where he worked for the past 22 years.
"I'm absolutely delighted that the chairman has asked me to join the Board,"
said Jeff. "I will do everything I can to help the Club regain and retain
Premiership status."
