support families and businesses facing economic challenges and
improve clean energy access

climate-friendly and complementary programs that support northern
Illinois families and businesses, ComEd today extended the deadline

Assistance program to Friday, Aug. 19, 2022.

energy company serves. Eligible nonprofit candidates must be
501(c)(3) certified, serve the northern Illinois ComEd service

and respond to the increasing needs brought on by the pandemic,
economy and other world events,” said Melissa Washington, senior
vice president of customer operations and chief customer officer,
ComEd. “As a long-time supporter of the northern Illinois
community, ComEd will continue to respond to the unique needs of
nonprofits and support their work to lift up both families and
local businesses and ensure everyone shares in the benefits of
clean energy.”
