Air China Ltd. (0753.HK) has agreed to buy six aircraft from
Boeing Co. (BA) for a combined list price of $2.05 billion in a bid
to boost capacity.
The Chinese flag carrier said in a Thursday filing that it would
take delivery of the six long-haul B777-300ER jets from 2016 to
2017.
The latest deal comes shortly after rival China Southern
Airlines Co. (1055.HK) and its 51%-owned unit Xiamen Airlines Co.
in December ordered 110 aircraft from Boeing for $10.1 billion.
