Business Wire
Industrial Nanotech, Inc. (Pink Sheets:INTK), an emerging global
leader in nanotechnology based energy saving solutions, today
announced that the Company’s patented nanotechnology based
Nansulate® energy saving coatings have been selected for inclusion
in the Resource Efficiency Atlas, an international collection of
examples of innovative and resource efficient products and
technologies. The 3-year project is being carried out on behalf of
the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) by the
Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy, the
Frauenhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering IAO, University of
Stuttgart and Trifolium-Beratungsgesellschaft.
“This will be an important resource for governments and
corporations looking for innovative energy efficient technologies
to reduce global energy consumption,” states Francesca Crolley, VP
of Business Development for Industrial Nanotech, Inc. “Nansulate®
is the Company's patented product line of award winning, specialty
coatings containing a nanotechnology based material and which are
well documented to provide the combined performance qualities of
thermal insulation, corrosion prevention, resistance to mold
growth, fire resistance, chemical resistance and lead encapsulation
in an environmentally safe water-based coating formulation suitable
for severe service environments.”
Ms. Crolley continues, “Nansulate® has been effectively used in
buildings, homes, factories, on heat process equipment, steam
pipes, refrigerated trucks, airports, and many other applications
throughout the world for the past seven years to reduce energy
consumption and related carbon emissions. It is an affordable
technology that is easily implemented with a rapid payback period
on the original investment, much shorter than most energy saving
technologies, and often it pays for itself in less than a year in
real dollar cost energy savings. We look forward to introducing
more people to our technology through this important and insightful
Resource Efficiency Atlas, which is the result of three years of
research by these respected institutions, and who’s goal is to
offer a collection of resources and technologies that can
contribute to sustainable development.”
The Resource Efficiency Atlas is an international collection of
efficient technologies and products. The Atlas is expected to be
available by end March 2011 and will be available in German and
English in both print and online versions. For more information
