Yangtze Power Co.,Ltd. Announcement on Electricity Generation in Q1
of 2024 as published on the website of the Shanghai Stock
Exchange, and is provided for your reference only. In case of
discrepancy between the Chinese version and the English version,
the Chinese version shall prevail.
According to the preliminary
statistics of the Company, the total water inflow at the Wudongde
Reservoir by 2024 Q1 reached approximately 14.849 billion cubic
metres, representing a year-on-year decrease of 7.71%, while the
total water inflow at the Three Gorges Reservoir reached
approximately 49.767 billion cubic metres, representing a
year-on-year decrease of 4.14%.
The gross electricity generation of
the Company's domestic cascade hydropower projects was
approximately 52,747 GWh in 2024 Q1, representing a year-on-year
decrease of 5.13%. Among them, the Three Gorges Project generated
14,015 GWh of electricity, representing a year-on-year increase of
15.79%; Gezhouba Project generated 3,430 GWh of electricity,
representing a year-on-year increase of 8.94%; Xiluodu Project
generated 12,171 GWh of electricity, representing a year-on-year
decrease of 7.24%; and Xiangjiaba Project generated 6,436 GWh of
electricity, representing a year-on-year decrease of 18.65%;
Wudongde Hydropower Station generated 5,956 GWh, representing a
year-on-year increase of 3.49%; Baihetan Hydropower Station
generated 10,738 GWh, representing a year-on-year decrease of
20.79%.
