Melbourne IT Digital Brand Services (DBS) has strengthened its
senior sales team with the appointments of two new Vice Presidents
in the United States. Armando Dacal joins as Senior Vice President
of Global Sales and Marketing for Melbourne IT DBS, alongside Craig
Lisowski, who has been appointed Vice President of North America
Sales.
Melbourne IT DBS is a global leader in helping organizations
maximize the value of their online brand assets. The new hires are
tasked with expanding the company’s impressive base of customers,
particularly helping marketing, intellectual property and IT
executives at large organizations to take advantage of the
opportunities presented by the impending arrival of new “.brand”
domain names and to mitigate online reputation risk through online
brand protection.
Armando Dacal joins Melbourne IT DBS after a decade with
Internet industry leaders VeriSign and Symantec in various senior
sales leadership roles stretching across the North American,
European and Asia-Pacific markets. Prior to joining Melbourne IT
DBS, Dacal was Senior Director for Global Channel Sales at
Symantec, where he managed a global channel network of thousands of
resellers for the company.
Craig Lisowski has a diverse 12-year background in enterprise IT
sales and leading business process change at large technology
businesses. His career began in IT with SGI before joining
VeriSign, where he led a team responsible for change management and
systems support in his role as Director of IT and Finance. Lisowski
shifted to a sales focus with roles at Oracle and Cisco before
joining Melbourne IT DBS.
Lisowski will be responsible for leading the US sales operations
for Melbourne IT DBS, where the company employs more than 100
people in its three offices across the East and West Coasts. In
addition to North America, Dacal’s remit will cover the global
sales operations for Melbourne IT DBS spread across all 15 offices
in 10 countries.
“The complexity and risk associated with organizations
transacting online and managing their online presence is increasing
every day. Melbourne IT Digital Brand Services is ideally
positioned to help organizations navigate the range of brand risks
and opportunities online. I’m confident these important
appointments will help us boost our growing share of the US market
and our global reach overall,” said Melbourne IT DBS Executive Vice
President, Kanchan Mhatre.
Both Dacal and Lisowski will be based in Melbourne IT DBS’
headquarters in Mountain View, California.
