Global Clean Energy, Inc. Updates Finger Lakes, New York Waste to
Fuels Development
HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwired - Dec 17, 2013) - Global Clean
Energy, Inc. (OTC-PINK: GCEI) is proceeding with Full Circle
Renewables,LLC to develop an Anaerobic Digestion AD development on
the Seneca AgBio Energy Park in Romulus, New York. GCE and Seneca
will provide land, infrastructure, rail access and gas input
facility while Full Circle will provide the technology and
operations.
To supplement the feedstock required, GCE will move forward with
a biomass drying operation under a tolling agreement with Novera
Proteins Inc. to process biomass feedstock including grape pumice
from local wineries to produce supplemental agricultural feedstock
for the AD plant.
These projects will provide the basis for the Seneca AgBio Green
Energy Park by creating a location by which diverse and
interrelated energy projects can be situated to create a renewable
energy park in the Finger Lakes region of New York. The energy park
is located on the former Seneca Army Storage Depot. "We're thrilled
at the progress of realizing our vision of a true energy park that
utilizes waste materials from the farms, wineries and yogurt
manufacturers while revitalizing the Army Depot and creating much
needed jobs. This is truly a win, win for the community," said
Michael Coia, President of Seneca BioEnergy.
"FCR welcomes the opportunity to be working with GCE and the
Seneca Energy Park to develop another AD project to meet the biogas
needs of our customers," says Jim Quan, CEO of Full Circle
Renewables, LLC.
The Seneca AgBio Green Energy Park project has been awarded a
$2,000,000 incentive from NYSERDA, for the production of
electricity. In addition, NY State has awarded the site with a tax
exempt bonding package of $7,000,000 for capital purchases of
equipment and infrastructure. GCE has applied for New York StartUP
tax incentives.
GCE foresees an investment of $25,000,000 in 2014 to allow for
the creation of 30 full time jobs and revenues in excess of
$9,000,000 by 2015. "The Seneca AgBio Green Energy Park is expected
to house 2 additional waste to energy technologies over the next
two to three years," added Steven Mann, GCE's Chief Development
Officer.
