KELOWNA, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Apr 22, 2014) - PAPUAN PRECIOUS METALS CORP. (TSX-VENTURE:PAU)(OTCQX:PAUFF) (the "Company") is pleased to announce it has entered into a consultancy agreement with Mr. Drew Milburn, an acknowledged expert in the Medical Marijuana sector.

Mr. Milburn has acted as an advisor to numerous State and local authorities in the U.S., as well as Health Canada, which runs the National Program for Medical Marijuana in Canada. He has a strong background in the manufacturing and distribution sector, which in turn has led to the successful ownership and operation of multiple Medical Marijuana Dispensaries in California, Colorado, and Arizona.

As an expert in the field of retail and gardening operations for Medical Marijuana, Mr. Milburn has been invited to speak at industry venues throughout North America. He also proudly served twelve years as a United States Marine and was decorated many times for achievement above and beyond the call of duty.

Mr. Milburn will be advising the Company on potential projects within the Medical Marijuana sector.

The Company to date has not entered into any agreements in respect to the business opportunities in the legalized marijuana industry in Canada or in the United States, and cautions that there is no assurance the Company will acquire interests or enter into agreements in respect of this emerging industry.

If the Company enters into a contract in the Medical Marijuana business, it plans to execute a plan of arrangement to monetize each set of mining and non-mining assets.
