Norwegian chemicals company Yara International ASA (YAR.OS) said Monday that it has appointed Lars Rosaeg as chief financial officer with immediate effect, replacing Petter Ostbo.

Mr. Rosaeg was previously vice president of global joint ventures.

Chief Executive Svein Tore Holsether said Mr. Ostbo's departure wasn't due to financial performance or disagreement around the company's strategic direction, and the separation was on good terms.
