RiceBran Technologies (OTCQB: RIBTd), a global leader in
the production and marketing of value added products derived from
rice bran today announced an exclusive Distribution and Supply
Agreement with Compson Trading Co. Ltd ("Compson"), a Taiwan based company specializing in the
distribution of functional ingredients and nutritional supplements.
Under the terms of the Agreement, RiceBran Technologies
will produce certain Stage II rice bran derivatives products for
exclusive distribution by Compson into the nutritional supplement
and functional food market in Taiwan and for non-exclusive distribution into
certain neighboring geographies. The Stage II products
covered by exclusivity for the Taiwan market are RBT's RiSolubles, RiFiber
and RiBalance products.
